Nominator's project description

Professor Kanhere is a distinguished Computer Scientist and Electrical Engineer best known for his acclaimed research on the Internet of Things (IoT), particularly the processing of data sensed by IoT devices. He has also made seminal contributions to other fields, including crowdsourcing and blockchain-based infrastructures for the IoT. During his stay in Germany, Professor Kanhere intends to further improve blockchain's applicability in the (industrial) IoT.
